The Bureau of International Recycling (BIR) reported recently that global stainless steel output will hike 25 percent in 2010 to over 30 million tons.

According to the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF), stainless steel output jumped 55 percent in Q1 of 2010 on the needs of houses, cars and other manufacturing sections.

However, steel production could be declined in 3Q because of upcoming summer holiday and stock clearance.
